Right. When it comes to professional sites. It's not html but it's either php or asp. They are both web scripting languages. This forum uses PHP. What they do is make content dynamic. you can never view the scripting behind a page, if you click on source you get the html of a site. Even if it's in PHP. Scripting languages are very hard to learn but you can use premade scripts. like phpbb2 for example or a very popular website making software called joomla!.

Now to use joomla or phpbb3 or anything good you need mysql. Mysql is a data storage engine. It saves all your sites pages. Content, Members and that.

TO use PHP And MySQL your web host need to support them. my favorite host is 110mb. My site is hosted there and i am very happy of what i have made. www.110mb.com/register.php On the 1st of July you will be able to register there. Good luck with your amazing new site.
