What are you reading?

Anyone here like to read books? I'm into fantasy and science fiction, and the occasional techno-thriller of prehistoric fiction (like the Prehitoric American series by Kathleen O'Neal Gear and W. Michael Gear). Right now I'm reading The Cabinet of Curiosities by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. For anyone who is familiar with The Relic, Agent Pendergast is at it again, attempting to solve what seems like everyday murders that actually involve scientific anomalies.

I've Not Read A Book For Ages

I Read A Football Magazine Every Week Though Which Has All Footy Gossip In And It Has Puzzles And Posters Too

Its Called 'Match' And Some Of You Might Of Heard Of It

The Last Book I Probably Read, Was The 50 Cent - From Pieces To Weight One

And I Have Read Some Auto-Biographys Too Like Roy Keane's, Ryan Giggs' Etc

And I've Read All The Harry Potters One Too
Michael

I haven't read the Harry Potter books but I loved the movies. Great stuff. I think each one is better than the last, and I'm looking forward to Order of the Phoenix.
Danaldinho

Yes The Film

And The Book Was Amazing

You Should Try Reading Them

And I Bet By The Time The New Book Comes Out, I'll Be An Adult Because She Seems To Take Ages To Write Them
Michael

You say that now, Danny, but in 20 years you'll be saying, "My, where did all the time go?"
BEB

Cool, Do You Like That Sort Of Stuff Then
Michael

Wow, it is so cool that you made this thread into a sticky, Danny. I like comics too, and very much. I still have have a copy of the Image version of "Spawn vs. Batman." Anyone seen that?

I also have a graphic novel called "Speeding Bullets." It's a "what if" type: What if Kal-El had been found by the Waynes instead of the Kents? Good story...

No Probs, I Thought It Should Be As It Will Be Good In This Section And I Don't Think I've Heard Of Those

nivizoit

im on my third time reading robert jordan's the wheel of time series, it's long and he started in 1992 and still isnt done he's published 11 books so far. i love the books but there are way too many similarities to lord of the rings to be considered highly original. later on in the books when his own plot line thickens it gets better and the rip offs are a little more forgivable. its a fast and fun interesting read though i love em
Van_Der_Sar

Harry Potter: Deathly Hallows.
JonnyJ

Angelcity7

Bought Harry potter book as well I did'nt read a lot of it but.

Michael

I'm reading a sci-fi by a new author: The Mars Imperative by Mark Terence Chapman. Not bad so far.

I Have Just Reached Chapter 7 In The New Harry Potter Book
JonnyJ

ive read the new harry potter book and its gd at the end
Grimsby Town

I never read books now.
I read Nuts and Zoo on the way to a Grimsby match yesterday which passed the time
Michael

Now I'm reading Book Five of the Wheel of Time: The Fires of Heaven by Robert Jordan. The story is still pretty good even into the fifth book. I'm beginning to think the reason the series works despite its length is the strong character development.
tagalong

Just finishing up Scorched, by Rachel Butler.

Looking forward to the next book - Find Me by Carol O'Connell

O'connell is by far my fave author
Evil Pikachu

Im reading

"We Are Witnesess"
Michael

Hmm. We Are Witnesses. Is it general fiction, or genre related?

I'm onto book six now: The Lord of Chaos. It's unfortunate that I'll never know the end, because Robert Jordan died before he could finish the series. And I still can't stop reading it...
Angelcity7

Dont feel like reading but i have to read a book for school :S im reading sweet 16 book 3 till now its nice hope it continues like this lol
Michael

Finished "Lord of Chaos," read the first book of the new Thomas Covenant series too.  Now I've gone back to "People of the Moon" by W. Michael Gear and Kathleen O'Neal Gear, which I had put down for a while.

Changed the site around a bit, I see.  Looks good.

I'm still having lots of trouble with my internet connection, but I think I may have found a way around it...

(Sheesh.  I got disconnected again before I could post this reply.  It's SO annoying.)
