its when you increase the voltage of your com to make it faster.
all you need to do is put it up
read this and by the way if you are going to overclock your com dont over do it

to do it you basically just startup, and when your BIOS is onscreen (the bit when you first turn it on (sometimes may say type for examply mine is Award BIOS). You hit a kestroke (usually shown at the bottom, and you will enter a blue page with loads of menu bits, basically look through them until you find one that says CPU, click it, and set the clock voltage up, maybe just one notch, and hey presto, faster computer
WARNING: putting the voltage can cause your CPU to melt if there is insufficient cooling (i just put mine up one notch)
